Join the Team!

The staff at Radiance Learning Academy are dedicated to creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. Staff members are chosen for their ability to provide skilled care that recognizes every child’s individuality and unique needs.

Learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. Most of our educators have achieved an advanced degree in their field. Our instructors are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their classes.

All employees meet the Washington state-mandated annual continuing education requirements. All staff members have first aid, CPR, and HIV training and keep this training current. Employees have valid references, TB testing, and background checks from the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.

Our staff is given the opportunity to apply their own abilities, talents, and interests to their work. They participate in an ongoing training process that helps them grow continually as people and as teachers. This process-centered approach underlies everything we do.

The Center values continued professional development of all staff and recognize that quality childcare depends largely upon maintaining high levels of skill among the employees.  As part of our employee benefits, we provide training opportunities in and out of the Center.

We enjoy talking to parents about the exciting new things we learn and also keep a file on our training. If you would like to see our training and education files please ask.
