It’s finally Winter Break!
This week we really got into the holiday spirit by dressing up for all of our spirit days: Mon.- Red & Green; Tues.- Ugly/funny Holiday Sweaters; Wed.- Flannel; Thurs.- Holiday Character/costume; Fri.- Cozy up by the Fire. We also crafted handprint Santas, fingerprint Christmas trees, Kwanza hats, paper bag reindeer, and more. Later today we will enjoy hot cocoa with whipped cream and candy canes! Additionally this week, we were treated to a visit by our former Center Aide, Yuli, on Wednesday and Thursday. She was helping out because of all our staff absences!
We hope you have an enjoyable and safe break, and we will be excited to see you next year on our first day back: Tuesday, January 2nd!
A few announcements and reminders:
Please read through everything carefully and add dates to your personal calendars.
You will be receiving a progress report for your child when you pick him/her up from school today. These reports contain specific information about how your child is doing academically in each subject and also behaviorally, socially, emotionally, etc. We hope that you carefully read through them to get a good understanding of your child’s progress – the teachers spent a lot of time and effort to thoroughly evaluate each individual student!
If you would like to schedule a teacher conference to discuss your student’s progress, please contact us to set up an appointment.
Don’t forget to visit our social media pages to view photos and videos from the week.
