How to Apply

Introductory Visit

We want to invite each new family to tour our facility and schedule a visit at least once before enrollment. This introductory visit allows the parents, child, and provider to acquaint themselves with our program, our facility, and the children. At this visit, we will learn about each other and the program. We will take this opportunity to answer the many questions we both will have. This visit will be a scheduled visit at a time when we will be able to focus on you and your child. During this visit, you will meet the Executive Director, the site director, and the staff and see our facility. We will also schedule a time where we can discuss our policies, procedures, and expectations before your child's first day of school.

Admission Requirements and Enrollment Procedures

Parents/guardians may apply online through the Brightwheels application. All registration forms must be completed before a child is enrolled. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date the center has a record of receiving your deposits. If classes are filled, the child's name will be put on a waiting list to fill vacancies as they occur. A security deposit is required to reserve a space for your child. Only one deposit is needed per family. If you need to withdraw your child from the center, a 30-day written notice is required so that another child can fill the vacancy. An initial registration fee is charged on the date of your child's first day at the center. If re-enrollment is desired, a new deposit and registration fee will be required.

The State of Washington and our program require that all documents are completed before the child's first day of child care. We realize that there are a lot of necessary forms that need to be filled out. If you need support, please feel free to call us. Remember to sign the immunization form and complete both sides of each form. You will also need to bring all the required supplies and pay the registration and deposit fees before your child's first day of class. If your child has special needs, make sure you have the documentation from your doctor, especially for allergies, medications, and seizures.

All fees/tuition must be paid by the first working day of the month.

A thirty-day written notice is required for a change in a child's enrollment status, such as going from preschool to after-school care, to provide adequate staffing and maintain legal child-to-staff ratios.

When approved by the Director, schedule changes become effective at the beginning of the month; clients must provide the Director with written notice of their schedule change requests by the 15th of the previous month.

EXCEPTIONS: An exception may be made as needed to accommodate an urgent reduction in days due to unexpected circumstances such as a loss of a job, etc. This is at the discretion of the Director.
